Choosing the right time to paint a wooden structure outside is essential. The drying of a coating, especially waterborne, is strongly influenced by the conditions in which we decide to operate. We often believe that waterborne coatings are slower to dry, but in reality this step is strongly conditioned by the relative humidity of the environment. Temperature is an important operational parameter, thanks to which it is possible to lower the humidity and thus accelerate the drying of the paint film. The same considerations are valid for industrial production lines, humidity and operating temperatures determine how quickly the paint film dries.
