The color matching is not an aspect to be underestimated in the furniture world. Pigmented surfaces have their own ability to reflect light, and sometimes we find conditions in which colors that appear visually identical under a light source show different shades when illuminated differently. This phenomenon is called metamerism, and to prevent it from appearing it is necessary to study and improve the formulas and components of the pigmented coatings on a daily basis. Sirca’s R&D laboratories, therefore, constantly update and improve their tinting systems, to minimize the chromatic differences visible when the light source changes.
