STAINS FOR WOOD: Stains or colorants, for wood, are collected in the Tintorama line . The stains showed in this product line derive from an accurate market research that follows the evolution of furniture design. They are stains suitable for painting and ennobling wood. Depending on the transparent, semi-transparent or uniforming nature, they allow to achieve different aesthetic results, and they can be appropriately added with binders to mark the natural design or the grain that characterizes the wood essence. Solvent-based, water-based and universal lines are available.

Therefore allow:

  • Enhancing the natural color of wood based on market needs and trends
  • Improve the final aesthetics of the painted artefact, reviving the natural color of the wood
  • Standardize any defects in a natural, rough substrate such as wood

In the latter case it is possible to add a suitable binder to the chosen color, solventbased or waterbased depending on the type of colorant chosen. This binder has the purpose of:

  • Limit the absorption of the stain (the surface to be painted can absorb non uniformly the stain, then the binder is necessary to avoid such defect)
  • Uniforming the color of the surface to be coated
  • Enhancing the structure typical of each commonly used essence

Each series of colors presented in this product line is combined with a table indicating the commonly recommended technical solutions, depending on the application methodology.
